Peake BBQ was born on Maryland’s Eastern Shore, in Cambridge — a stretch of country where the marsh meets the bay, the flag flies a little higher, and every good memory seems to come with a plate in front of it.
Around here, life is measured in seasons and seasonings. Spring crab feasts on picnic tables lined with newspaper. Summer bonfires out on Assateague, salt in the air and ponies on the horizon. Chilly mornings in a goose blind off the Choptank, followed by an Oyster roast at the local fire hall. The Eastern Shore feeds you well — but somewhere along the way, somebody decided salt and pepper alone was good enough. We respectfully disagree.
We are boldly American. Our love for this country is our right, and we will not be silenced. In recent years, conservatives and everyday Americans who carry unapologetic pride in our flag, our history, and our traditions have been told to sit down and quiet down. That’s not okay. We love this country, our veterans, and our armed service members without hesitation. We respect the flag, look out for our own, and believe a well-seasoned meal shared with family and friends is one of life’s great freedoms.
Peake BBQ exists to season those memories the way they deserve. We built four blends, each one bold, each one unmistakably American, each one named with a wink and a salute:
• Steak of the Union — our beef rub, equally at home on a ribeye or a backstrap from this season’s buck.
• United Spice of America — the all-purpose blend that belongs on everything from sweet corn to grilled rockfish to backyard burgers.
• Crabby Politician — built for blue crabs and oysters, but it’ll run for office on your shrimp, crawfish, and corn on the cob too.
• Founding Feathers — for chicken on the grill and the Canada goose you worked all morning to earn.
